My name is Russ Thorne, I grew up and spent the better part of my life living in Southern California. Later I moved to Northern California but now I spend much of my time traveling to SE Asia. I just love the tropical weather and the laid back lifestyle. When I am in Asia I spend much of my time on Koh Larn which is a small island in the Gulf of Thailand.

     My enthusiasm for both art and computers spans many decades. Art and computers I believe are a perfect marriage and the possibilities utilizing both are almost unlimited. I just love using Photoshop, there is so much that can be done with it. Photoshop is only limited by the persons imagination that is using it. For web graphics there just isn't a more valuable tool for producing web graphics for the web. All photographs and images on any web site I produce go through Photoshop first before being posted.

     I think one of the truly great things of our time is the internet. It allows us to collaborate across the globe instantly and thus making it possible for me to continue to do my work during those times I am abroad. We all have heard of the virtual office and telecommuting to work, well these days putting it into real practice is easier than ever before. I would like to demonstrate to you just how easy it can be to put a web site together from afar with so little effort.
